Let me introduce myself!
Hi everyone! my name is Rémi, I am a soon-to-be 27 years old French software developer. Outside of work, I mostly do banal stuff: hanging out with friends, playing videogames (mostly on the Switch), listening to music, reading (very little to be honest), cooking (I still have so much to learn!), watching cooking videos, and probably other things as well!
I am mostly passionate about music and comedy. I have quite a few vinyl records that I love listening to with my old turntable, I like to discover new artists and I try to go to concerts. I guess I'd very much like to write some comedy, I don't know if I'll ever be brave enough to go on stage myself but if I could write stuff with someone, that'll be great!
Anyway, I don't have a specific topic in mind for this blog. I want to be able to write about pretty much anything. So I guess this would cover topics such as:
- everyday topics (life in a broad way)
- music (artists or genres I like, maybe an album review, …)
- comedy
- my career
- software engineering (I probably don't have anything relevant to say about it but who knows?)
- something else?
I intend to write articles in English, as this is the opportunity for me to practise my written English. But if I feel like it, I might also write some things in French, which is my native language. Ideally, I'd love to publish everything in both languages but that would require extra time, so I'll probably never do it!
